England, first day


Finally i am here in England. it lookes like a faeryland in here...
This country is filled with so much beauty that i feel i need to photograph every beauty i see. yesterday after Eileen's husband picked us from Oxenholme train station and right away we begun to look bluebells. we found bluebells, and suddenly we where invited to see this amazing amazing old garden by the owner ( who we did not knew). People seem to be so friendly in here.... the garden was filled with such a beautiful old trees and rhododendrons, i have never knew that actually Rhododendrons could look like a trees. this garden took my breath away, i could have not imagined that a stranger would lead us through the large garden and explain history of it etc.
i have had such a lovely time in here and the surroundings are just beautiful with hillside and the sea. 

 now i will leave you with the photos, there will be lots and lots of them. there is still a lots of photos of the first day, but i will post them later.

    Your photos are so beautiful! I have such a love for England and dream of the day I'll get to return. It is such a gorgeous landscape! I'll just have to live vicariously through your pictures. Can't wait to see more!

    Beautiful photos, I loved the oldness of England when I visited 37 years ago,the days of "times gone by" hung everywhere, what fun you will have. cheers Marie

    sooo beautiful! i had to chuckle when i read that a complete stranger invited into a garden. when i was married to the boys' dad, we rode our bicycles throughout europe (and camped) for FIVE months. when we got to england, in june, an elderly woman saw us eating our breakfast of yogurt on a sidewalk in front of a shop, and invited us to come see "a proper english garden", to eat our breakfast there. so we did. this happened quite a few times, each person friendlier than the next. i couldn't believe how kind they all were. have a splendid time!!! xox
