Some new jewelries are now listed at my Etsy shop.
I have many many air dry clay acorns and other nature inspired creations waiting to be added on to my jewelry. These birds where created in last autumn. I love to use hand dyed muslin on my jewelry, the fabric is just like i would discovered from the forest floor!
This bird speaks to me about pine woodland and mossy stones, from the hillside landscape which surrounds me. I can somehow even smell the earthy fragrance when i am looking at this necklace. Maybe this bird loves to spend more time on the moss covered ground than high in the tree tops..

ReplyDeletethank you so much for stopping by my blog! i discovered your art on etsy through my friend linda(mamamoose) whom you made a custom piece for. i adore your art! it is just so whimsical and earthy and i love the colours you use. i could easily buy up everything you make(if i had the money!). i am so thankful for linda for sharing your shop with me! she also makes amazing, earth-inspired art and has a blog called "the cozy house". she makes magic wands out of tree branches, drift wood, beads, feathers and raw crystals as well as amazing beaded jewelry. she still doesn't have an etsy shop, but all her friends would love for her to have one! i am not surprised that she loves your jewelry. i will have to stop back and see what you are up too! hopefully, i will own a piece of your jewelry too someday! and thank you about my photography-i do a lot of self portraits because as i have grown up i have found less folks who want to play dress up-sad, but true. but, the stories continue so i continue.
